Obedience Classes – 6 week Session
Saturday, March 27, 2010 – 8:00 am

Obedience Class – Week 1

• We will be meeting at Margaret T. Hance Park, 67 W. Culver, Phoenix, AZ (N. of Roosevelt between 3rd Ave. & Central Ave.). If there is a possibility of rain, I will notify you the night prior to class by email if class is canceled. If you do not hear from me, we will hold class as scheduled.

• Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes (preferably tennis shoes)
• Please do not feed your GDD puppy 2 hours prior to class
• Please keep your GDD puppy *on leash* at all times
• If you are raising a female and she is in season, please do not bring her to class.
• Please RSVP for all classes by Wednesday, March 24th.

Phoenix Coyotes Game
Thursday, March 4, 2010 – 5:00 pm

Selling 50/50 Raffle Tickets. We have been selected to sell 50/50 raffle tickets at the Phoenix Coyotes Hockey Game. We will need a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 people over the age of 18 to sell tickets. We will need to be at the arena at 5:00 pm and sell tickets in the upper and lower concourse through the end of the second period. I will send more
information as the date gets closer. Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 24th.

Lion District 21B Convention Lion Convention

We are looking for Puppy Raisers, Graduates and Ambassadors that would like to
help with the table and share the mission of GDD at the Lion Convention. If you
would like to attend and carpool, please RSVP by Wednesday, March 10th.

Metro Light Rail Ride / Aloha Festival
Saturday, March 14, 2010 - 10:00 am

Tempe Beach Park, Tempe Town Lake.
For those of you who are located in the north-west / north-east valley, you will
meet Lori at the park and ride lot located at 19th Ave. & Montebello in Phoenix and
for those of you who are located in the east valley, you will meet Jackie at the park
and ride lot located at Sycamore & Main Street in Mesa. We will meet at the 3rd
Street & Mill Ave. stop. We will walk Mill Ave. working on traffic and other
distractions to Tempe Lake Park, join in on the festivities of the Aloha Festival,
have lunch and ride the Light Rail back to our starting location. Please RSVP by

Matinee Movie - Harkins Theater

2550 W. Happy Valley Road Phoenix, AZ
We will be seeing a movie which will be determined at the date gets closer. Tickets
can be purchased on line or at the theater. We will meet in front of the theater 30
minutes before show time and enter as a group, with the goal of getting to our
seats 15 minutes before the movie starts to get both humans and dogs settled
before show time. Please RSVP by Thursday, May 20th.

Mall Trip - Scottsdale Fashion Square
Saturday, June 12, 2010 – 11:00 am

Camelback & Scottsdale Road
We will meet inside the mall on the lower level in front of Dillards. We will then
walk the mall as a group, working on elevators, stairs and walking by the upper level
glass. We can then have lunch as a group in the food court. Please RSVP by

Cabela’s
Wednesday, June 23, 2010 – 7:00 pm

9380 W. Glendale Ave.Glendale, AZ
We will meet in front of Cabela’s and walk through the store as a group. There will
be different sights and smells for distractions, as well as people distractions. This
will be a good opportunity to work with our pups on their obedience and meet &
