There are countless ways to get involved with Guide Dogs of the Desert! We have needs for volunteers in a number of different capacities. If you want to know more about volunteering, there is a contact form at the bottom of this page.
Ways to Volunteer
Puppy raisers are volunteers who bring young puppies into their home, in order to teach them fundamental skills necessary for them to become Guide Dogs. This can include training, socialization and basic daily care. If you would like more details on puppy raising, click here. If you are not sure if puppy raising is right for you, but you’d still like to help out, consider puppy sitting! Contact our team to learn more about how you can help.

These families provide for the dogs’ daily needs, as well as obedience training and of course… loving and spoiling these amazing dogs.
